11kV Switchgear CT Upgrades – Biomass Site

A biomass site in Hull required an upgrade to the site’s HV protection system after an upgrade. Following a new protection grading study, the existing current transformers (CTs) were no longer fit for purpose. O.M.S.P. carried out the CT upgrades, inputting of the new protection settings and testing & commissioning during a planned shutdown. Upon completion the site was re-energised and back in service.
