Following a fault that caused extensive damage on the 11kV Eclipse switchgear, O.M.S.P. worked alongside our client and offered a full turnkey solution that involved:
- removal of the damaged equipment
- refurbishment of the damaged section of the switchboard
- installation of the refurbished equipment
- full commissioning of the equipment including remote protection panel and restricted earth fault protection within the 33kV transformer.
- Risks – Half of the board was life and needed to remain live at all times so we had to work around this and ensure no intertripping was sent between the two sections
